Where did it come from? Many thanks to Kathryn for sending me a copy of this book to read.
How long has it been on my TBR pile? Since 22 January 2011
Why do I have it? I have liked Kathryn Meyer Griffith as an author ever since I read her book Witches in high school.
When archeologists Laura and Julian Bennet discover the tomb of an ancient Egyptian Queen known in legend as 'The Nameless One', they choose to ignore the whispered curses about the Queen and her sorcerous ways. Upon opening the tomb, they unknowingly release an evil into the world that is better kept buried. Will they be strong enough to pay the price for defeating it? I really enjoyed this short story by one of my favorite authors. I did a paper on the Curse of King Tut in college and am very interested in Egyptian history. I give this story an A!

Why do I have it? I live quirky books and I love horror.
The Radleys are a normal dysfunctional English family. Peter is an overworked doctor, Helen is an unhappy housewife, Rowan and Clara are their teenaged children - Rowan is being bullied and Clara is an anemic recent vegan. The only secret that the Radleys have is a seventeen-year-old one that no one knows but themselves. Peter and Helen are vampires, trying to raise their children as normally as possible.
When Clara commits a shocking and oddly satisfying act of violence, she attracts the attention of the police, forcing her parents to shatter the shield of lies around their children. Uncle Will, a practicing vampire, arrives to throw off the police and in the process and cracks the Radleys idyllic marriage wide open.
I enjoyed this book very much and give it an A!

When increasingly violent murders begin to occur that seem to be somehow connected to Lauren, she must find a way to protect her people from a demonic killer known as the Cowboy. I really liked this book even though it was extremely violent in parts. I give it a B+!
